Regulation of Saudi Endodontic Society Membership

Membership Categories
A. Regular Membership
  • Must be a healthcare practitioner in the endodontic specialty.
  • Must hold a valid classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • Must pay an annual membership fee to the association.
  • Must collaborate with society and its affiliates to achieve its objectives.
  • Must not engage in any activity that could harm society.
  • Must adhere to the decisions of the General Assembly.
  • Must be of Saudi nationality.

The Rights of a Regular Member:
  1. Participation: The right to participate in the activities of the association.
  2. Access to Documents: The right to review the society documents and records, including decisions made by the General Assembly, Board of Directors, the executive officer, or other officials.
  3. Financial Overview: The right to view the society ‘s general budget and its annexes at the society ‘s headquarters, prior to its presentation to the General Assembly.
  4. Attendance: The right to attend the General Assembly meetings.
  5. Voting: The right to vote on General Assembly decisions after six months from joining the association.
  6. Information: The right to receive basic information about the society ‘s activities on a regular basis.
  7. Financial Records: The right to review financial records and minutes at the society ‘s headquarters.
  8. Extraordinary Meetings: The right to request the General Assembly to convene for an extraordinary meeting in conjunction with 25% of the members eligible to attend the General Assembly.
  9. Correspondence: The right to communicate with the society through a letter addressed to the Board of Directors, and the society may correspond with the member through a letter issued by the Board or its authorized representative, delivered personally or sent to any of the member’s registered addresses.
  10. Proxy Representation: The right to appoint another member in writing to represent them in the General Assembly.
  11. Nomination: The right to be nominated for membership on the Board of Directors after a period of no less than six months from joining the association and paying the membership fee.
  12. Communication: The right to contact society through any available means, and the Board of Directors or its authorized representative is obligated to respond through the same means or to the member’s registered address.


B. Affiliate Membership

  1. Annual Fee: Payment of an annual subscription fee to the society.
  2. Cooperation: Cooperation with society and its members to achieve its goals.
  3. No Harm: Refrain from any actions that may cause harm to society.
  4. Compliance: Adherence to the decisions of the General Assembly.
